Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2027 Genesis G80 vehicles. The ignition coil ground bolt may be loose, resulting in an engine misfire or stall while driving.
Safety consequence
An misfire or loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will tighten the ignition coil ground bolt, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 27, 2026. Owners may contact Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741. Hyundai's number for this recall is 034G.
